Federal Bike and Trail Grants Canceled: Time to Take Action
The League of American Bicyclists sent out a call to action today via email. They are asking anyone who values safe bike infrastructure to reach out to your senators. Communities across America are receiving troubling news: hundreds of millions of dollars in previously awarded federal grants for bicycle trails, sidewalks, and transportation safety infrastructure are being canceled by the U.S. Department of Transportation under Secretary Duffy. | ||

New Spiketon Ditch Bridge Opening RideATTENTION: ROUTE CHANGE: In order to accommodate another event happening on the 13th, we have moved the start of the route to McMillin Trailhead A day that I've been waiting for since November 2023 is almost here. On Saturday, September 13th, the new Spiketon Ditch Bridge is going to officially open! Pierce County Parks is helping to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new bridge that day.
