The 25 mile Bicvcle USA
sanctioned patch ride was
cancelled in February due to
weather and road conditions, and
has been rescheduled for
Saturday, March &. Join Lori
King and Sue Given for an easy
ride to Dupont for snacks and
earn the first of four patches in
the 1985 series. See the
February Newsletter for a
description of these colorful
patches depicting scenes from
Woody Guthrie's popular song
about America. Fatches must be
earned on rides sponsored by
clubs affiliated with Bicycle USA
and are available from TWC at #2
each.
Here is the revised schedule. The 25 mile "This land is your land, this land is my land" ride will be on March 2nd at 1Qam from South Fark Community Center. The SO mile "From California to the New York Island" ride will be on March 9th at 9am from TCC. "From the redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters" will be a 100 kilometer ride on April 13, and the "This land was made for you and me" 100 mile ride will take place on May Lith.

MARCH CLUB MEETING
This month’s club meeting
will be held on Tuesday March
19th at 7pm.
Terry and Lori King will discuss TOURING EQUIPMENT. Terry and Lori have presented this information to other clubs in the area. Those of us who have seen the presentation know that both the "new tourer" and the expert can benefit.
Following the King’s presentation, there will be a few bikes loaded for a weekend camping trip. You can ask questions, get differing views, and do a little "touchie-feelie" with the various equipment. This will be an excellent opportunity to review your options before buying your equipment for the 1985 touring season.
We would like to welcome the
following new members into the clubs
David Chimino
Thomas Hastings
Bob Stidwell
Bob Schadt
E.F. McAtee, Jr.
