1990, starting with a bicycle
ide at 1:00pm in the parking
lot at the Highland Golf and
Racquet Club, next to Jim
Davis’ home at 1369 Bel Air
Road North, Tacoma, WA

directions.

After twenty miles or so of perfect riding(no flat tires-- everyone makes the hills), a return to the Davis home will continue the party at 4:00pm, with dinner at 5:00pm, followed by the Christmas Lights Ride at 6:30pm.

Tacoma, Pierce County, and
parts of King County, which
were furnished to Pierce County
last year and then lost.

Yes folks, this is a "save the lost" meeting. Take this unique opportunity to submit your favorite and best routes for bicyclists trying to find their way through cars, freeways, and Street grates. If you are interested in commuter routes, tourist routes, or trails, you are encouraged to attend this meeting.

As usual, and also because this

is a working meeting, there will
be food and drink.

Still needed: A Touring Captain, a chairperson for the Daffodil Classic, and help to run a booth with the Pierce County Parks department at the Lakewood Mall for "Health Awareness Week", January 19-20.

PLANS FOR THE ANNUAL
TWC BANQUET

_We finally have a place and
date picked for the 1991
banquet.

A great time has been had at
La Quinta, however, we thought
it was good to freshen things up
a bit.

We have decided to change

~~ focations. The TWC Annual

Banquet will be held at Fife’s

Executive Inn, on Saturday,

January 26, 1991. (See
registration form below.)

The cost is $12.00 for adults
and $9.00 for children under
14.

We will be using Executive
Inn’s Atrium Room near the

pool.

Our theme will be centered
around antique bicycles, which
will be on display.

Dinner will be buffet style
with lots of good food.
Cocktail hour, with a no-host
bar, will begin at 6:30pm.
Dinner will follow at 7:30pm.

Then, of course, our jam-
packed program will cap off the
evening. Our committee has
come-up with some great ideas
to make this a memorable
event.

Did you know there are eight people in our Club who have ridden over 2000 miles this year? Come see who they are and applaud them. Participate in the laughter and enjoy the comradery. 1 will look forward to seeing you there, and send-in the registration form below today! --Laurie Hatch
