At recent club meetings, there has been a very poor turnout. Let's take a bit more pride in the club. At these meetings is where important decisions are made like how and when club money should be spent. If for some reason you can't attend a meeting, call one of the board members and give them your suggestions. The numbers are listed on the front of the newsletter. LET'S GET INVOLVED IN THE CLUB!
I've noticed lately on my daily bike rides to work that there are a lot of cyclists out there that are not obeying traffic laws. Laws I see being broken the most are the running of traffic lights and stop signs. These are the same people who complain about car drivers and the way they drive. Yes there are crazy drivers, so let's not be crazy cyclists. If we want courtesy we must give it.

4 of us arrived at the Spinnaker Rest in Vashon for brunch on the May 24th ride. As they had no real visible place for us to park our bikes we asked if we could park them in the breezeway. They were kind enough to let us bring them into their bar area which was vacant at the time.
The racing team will have team photos taken on Thursday June 18th at 7:00 PM at Point Defiance Park. Meet at the front entrance to the Park. Every team member should make a super effort to be there. Come dressed with your team jersey, cycling shoes, and shorts.
