If you have an idea for the new
Club Logo that we can put on our
jerseys, turn it in before April
13th. We already have several
ideas but are still open to sug-
gestions. If your idea is chosen,
you may be eligible for a free
jersey or some other nifty prize.
Get out your paper and pencils and
create something special that we
would all be proud to wear. Time
is getting short, do it now!

If the usual weekend ride is
not quite your style, and you
would rather leave the beaten path
and ride a little more ruggedly,
watch the ride schedules for some
upcoming mountain bike rides.

be a success, we are going to need
a lot more help from the member-
ship. Please check your schedules
and see if you can't find a few
minutes to help us out.

The time is fast approaching to
get on with plans for Bike Week,
June 30 to July 8. We would like
to have a ride every night of the
week, but need volunteers to lead
the rides. The rides needn't be
long; 6 to 10 miles is a good
distance. If you are willing to
lead a short ride on any of the
nights, give me a call so that I
can put it on the Master Schedule.

The name is T. W. Easybiker. A
friend of mine talked me into join-
ing the T.W.C., -and it's been a
lot of fun so far. I've meet some
very interesting and nice veople
since last Fall. I've also been
on some exciting rides to places
like Roy and Eatonville and even
the Tacoma Tideflats? Along the
way, I’ve noted some peculiarities
about bikers & biking in general.
These observations have led me to
start a collection of truisms abat
bikers and biking; I'm thinking
about calling it Easybiker's Laws,
My first Law is as follows:
NUTRITION Law:
The amount of time spent eating
on any given bike trip is in dir-
ect proportion to the amount of
time spent riding.
