Committee will be held on Thursday, January
12th (7pm) at Paula Napier’s, 6806 S. The position of Secretary for 1989 is still
Montgomery, Tacoma. Discussion at this open. The Secretary attends the board
meeting will include T-shirt color, general meeting and club meeting every month,
plans, and progress. Everyone interested in taking notes at each. If you would like to
helping is encouraged to attend. volunteer for this job, please call Diane Lister

TWC Banquet is eae January 28th
We survived Christmas. We've celebrated the New Year. We've sworn to keep all of our New Year resolutions right? The next big event to look forward to ig the Tacoma Wheelmen’s Annual Club Banquet. {t's my pleasure to be the committee chairperson. ane more time. and to give you all the latest details so far {i want to leave some items as surprises).
The Banquet will be held at O'Callahan's Restaurant at the La Quinta Inn on 27th Street by the Tacoma Dome. a very nice faciity. The meal will be “buffet style", with the main courses being Chicken Cordon Bleu and Roast Sirloin. Prices will be $10 for members, $12 for nor- meribers, and $6 for children under 12. As you know, “buffet style” means “eat until it’s gone’! The cocktail hour will commence at 6 om. with hors d oeuvres and no-nost bar. Oinner will follow at 7 om.
We have and still are planning a fun-filled program, which includes some great door prizes (videos of some of the classic bicycle flicks) and our ever most famous slide show.
Come and discover who rode the most miles this year or who will become our target for the really important awards, like
“Over The Bars” and “The Hawkeye”.
it's a great opportunity to get together with friends and fellow bicycle enthusiasts, have some good laughs, enjoy a great meal reminisce about 1988 and make plans for 1989.

New York fron June 16 to June 19. This area of upstate New York offers some of the best riding and sightseeing

a aspect of cycling; an extensive exhibition of bicycling products and services; entertainment and social events; and
much more.
